Photo IV: Week Four Due: September 30, Thursday

At the Met is an exhibition Between Here and There, Contemporary Photography. Some of the Photographers in the exhibition are listed below. Click on the names which are links or locate an image by any one, two or three artists from the list that you think has any relation whatsoever to your own work from the first project assignment. Other links to images are located within the essay by Douglas Eklund (http://www.metmuseum.org/now-at-the-met/features/2010/09/22/between-here-and-there-contemporary-photography-at-the-met.aspx). Select the image (or images) that you think relate(s) to your work for your blog, with a link back to its original on-line location, and with any relevant information available about the image. Then, explain how that image is related to your own work.

And finally post three of your own recent images and explain why you selected each of the three.

Here is the list of photographers in the exhibition:
Vito Acconci, Ed Ruscha, Richard Long, On KawaraOn Kawara, (or On Kawara), Bruce Nauman, Rineke Dijkstra, Thomas Struth, Darren Almond, Doug Aitken, (or Doug Aitken), Lothar Baumgarten, Matthew Buckingham, VALIE EXPORT, Felix Gonzalez–Torres, Svetlana Kopystiansky, Dennis Oppenheim, Allen Ruppersberg, Fazal Sheikh, Erin Shirreff, Robert Smithson, Anne Turyn, Jeff Wall, and Weng Fen.
